In just a few short years, the energy industry has seen a staggering increase in job growth. Over a 60% increase in oil production in the U.S. has opened the door to support more nearly 10 million workers and the job growth rate continues to outperform.
The job market continues to flourish after the Great Recession ended six years ago. Since the end of the Great Recession, the number of jobs have continually increased while the unemployment rate has decreased. Even though most areas have bounced back, there are some cities that have recovered more quickly than others.
